Pickup repair, step by step
You never carry the wheel anywhere. We pick it up, diagnose it, quote it, fix it and bring it back — about a week from pickup to return.
Tell us what it does
Send the form or text us the model and the fault. A technician replies with a price range.
We pick it up
We text you a pickup window on the next run in your area and take the $145 pickup and diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair.
Diagnose and quote
We open it on the bench, photograph what we find and text you the final price.
Repair and return
We repair it, balance-test it on the stand and bring it back to your door once the balance is paid.
Before the pickup
Repairs: tires, batteries, boards and crashes. Brands: InMotion, Begode, King Song, Veteran, Onewheel. Where we go: service area.
- Ride or leave it at about half charge. A half-charged lithium pack is the safe way to transport it — do not charge it to full the night before.
- Retract the trolley handle and fold the pedals up.
- Send the charger with it — chargers are voltage-specific, and a failing charger looks exactly like a failing battery.
- Take off pads, mounts, lights and bags you want to keep.
- Swollen, wet or hot battery: do not charge or ride it, and text us first.
Questions
Can I drop the wheel off myself?
No — we work by pickup only. The courier collects it from your door and brings it back, so there is no shop visit to plan.
When do you pick up?
Our courier runs cover each Southern California area every week. After you book, we text you the next run in your area and a pickup window.
What does the pickup cost?
$145. It covers the pickup, the bench diagnostic and bringing the wheel back, and it is credited toward the repair if you go ahead.
What if I say no to the quote?
If you say no to the quote, the $145 covers the pickup, the diagnostic and bringing the wheel back, and that is all you pay.
When do I pay the rest?
The $145 pickup and diagnostic fee is paid when we book the pickup and is credited toward the repair. The balance is paid once the repair is done, before the wheel comes back.
My wheel weighs over 100 pounds — can you still take it?
Yes. Tell us the exact model when you book. A Master Pro, Sherman L, Lynx, V13 or F22 needs two people and the right vehicle, and we plan the run for it.
Why not just mail it?
A pack over 300 Wh ships as hazardous cargo, a damaged pack cannot be mailed at all, and mail-in repair takes one to two weeks of shipping alone. Picking it up is faster and safer.
The battery is swollen, wet or got hot — can you pick it up?
Text us before anything else and do not charge or ride it. Put it outside, away from the house. A damaged lithium pack needs special handling, and we plan that pickup with you.
How long will I be without my wheel?
About a week from pickup to return. A board or a pack on backorder can add one to three weeks, and we tell you before ordering.
