Electric unicycle battery and charging repair
Most wheels that 'lose range' or 'will not charge' have one weak pack or one BMS, not a dead battery. We test every pack, replace only what failed and bring the wheel back.

Before we pick it up
- Leave it at about half charge. Do not charge a wheel that will not hold a charge the night before.
- Send the charger. A failing charger looks exactly like a failing pack, and chargers are voltage-specific.
- Swollen, wet, smoking or hot pack: do not charge or ride it, put it outside away from the house, and text us first. We plan that pickup separately.
Questions
Can you rebuild an electric unicycle battery?
We replace packs and BMS boards rather than re-cell them. EUC packs are curved, voltage-matched sets of two to eight packs per wheel, and the manufacturers sell them; a matched original pack is safer than a rebuilt one in a 100–176 V wheel.
Do I have to replace every pack?
Usually no. Most "battery" problems are one weak pack or one BMS. We test each pack and replace only what failed.
How long does a battery repair take?
About a week from pickup to return when the pack is in stock at a US dealer. Packs shipped from the factory can add one to three weeks, and we tell you before ordering.
Can I mail the wheel to you instead?
We work by pickup only, in Southern California. A pack over 300 Wh ships as hazardous cargo, and a damaged pack cannot be mailed at all — which is the reason we drive.
What if it is not worth repairing?
If you say no to the quote, the $145 covers the pickup, the diagnostic and bringing the wheel back, and that is all you pay.
